Australian Crime Commission Job Vacancies (Update)

The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) is established under the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002 as a statutory authority to combat serious and organised crime. We report directly to the Minister for Home Affairs and are part of the Attorney-General's portfolio.

The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) employs a variety of staff, encompassing three broad areas. The major functional work areas and just a handful of the positions we recruit to are listed below:
  • Serious Organised Crime—delivering criminal intelligence and investigation services
  • People and Business Support—providing key enabling services to the ACC including people management, legal, ICT and finance
  • Performance and Stakeholder Relations—providing advice and assistance to the agency via strategic policy, communications and media, and business reporting.
People join the ACC either through a general recruitment activity, as particular jobs become available or by way of secondment from another government agency or state police force. From time to time the ACC uses contractor staff for highly specialist and/or urgent staffing requirements.
