Leading corporate organisation, in the heart of the West End, within a London Land Mark building have an exciting opportunity to join their extremely successful Banqueting & Events department as Events Business Development Executive.

You will be responsible for generating and developing new business opportunities for corporate events and non corporate events, such as weddings/social/seminars/product launches etc.

This is an extremely varied role which involves contacting current active clients via very warm leads via the phone to promote events facilities. The aim is to promote the highly prestigious events facilities:

* Deliver outstanding customer service to clients enquiring about the facilities and produce optional packages
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities via warm leads
* Be the first point of contact for all queries and issues, up-sell products/services and develop new and existing relationships
* Working with the hospitality director & marketing team, produce a marketing campaign and cost effective proposals
* Market Research - Research & Identify new markets, face to face clients meetings/pitches/presentations, developing relationships with events agencies
* Attending networking events, travel to potential clients and socially entertain clients

This is an exciting role for someone who has perhaps worked in a sales position within hospitality and would like to utilise their skills within events. You will be promoting a very reputable and highly regarded brand.
You will be comfortable presenting to clients, be able to articulate yourself well and be extremely professional in appearance and attitude.
