Nokia 112 A Simple, Less Complicated Budget Phone

Nokia mobiles has unveiled Nokia 112 in May, 2012. Nokia 112 is a budget phone that is simple and less complicated dual SIM handset by Nokia mobiles. Nokia 112 is expected to hit the Indian market by the end of third quarter of 2012. The Nokia 112 has similar looks as the Nokia 110. Nokia is targeting the lower end crowd with this mobile phone. Nokia 112 doesnâEUR(TM)t have any extra features that make it less complicated for the consumers.

Nokia 112 pictures reveals the bar form factor design with the dimensions 110 X 46.9 X 15.4 mm. The phone is very handy and gives a classic touch and feel. Nokia 112 has a simple and sophisticated look with the display screen of 1.8 inches below which there is the alphanumeric keypad. The phone will be available in 4 different shades of colors like dark grey, white, cyan, and red. The phone is very light and weighs only 86 grams.

Nokia 112 has a 1.8 inches TFT display screen with a resolution of 128 X 60 pixels. The display screen support 65,000 colors with a pixel density of 114 ppi. The phone also comes with a VGA camera with digital zoom that captures images at a resolution of 640 X 480 pixels. The camera also supports video recording at the resolution of 176 X 144 pixels. The phone is a dual SIM (GSM-GSM) which makes very easy to use two SIM at a time. With the Dual SIM option, the user can swipe from one SIM to another and can make and receive calls from both SIM simultaneously. Nokia 112 features will include connectivity features like Bluetooth v 2.1 with EDR, microUSB, and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack for the headphones. The phone comes with inbuilt music player and video player that supports multi format files. The phone doesnâEUR(TM)t support 3G and works over 2G network with GPRS and EDGE for data transfer over Internet. The phone has a built in WAP 1.1 browser by which the user can access internet over phone. The phone has store up to 1000 contacts and has an internal memory storage of 16 MB. The mobile has a external storage support with microSD card slot by which the external memory can be expended up to 32 GB. The phone also has general features like Alarm clock, calculator, calendar, calculator, voice memo, FM radio and organizer.

Nokia phones are always very power efficient and are known to have a very good battery backup. The Nokia 112 also promises the same, it has a standard Li-ion 1400 mAh battery. The battery can withstand up to 840 hrs on standby mode, up to 14 hrs on talk time mode and a music play for up to 27 hrs. Nokia 112 price are expected to be approximately Rs 2630 in the Indian market.
